What is your experience with BDSM? Around the time that I graduated from college, I read The Story of O and started thinking more realistically about the desires and had a few maybe dangerous random Craigslist hook ups, but then I got active from the San Francisco BDSM picture and leather culture and just went from there. As soon as I figured out that this was a real thing that I could do I was such as Oh! That's why folks are so worked up about it kind of gender because it's actually awesome and not boring.
What part of BDSM and the lifestyle would you enjoy the most?
It's the mental aspects. I believe BDSM and leather similar to a code of integrity or a religion. I take it quite seriously and, for me personally, entry and also being a submissive woman is part of my individuality in exactly the same way being queer or femme is part of my own identity. Also, I am a businesswoman, I am an entrepreneur, so I am a work-a-holic, therefore when I find a chance to really maintain subspace and let it all go and submit, and not have to worry about podcasts and columns and the remainder of the entire whole world, that's Heaven for me personally.
What are you most looking forward to doing today?
I am just really looking forward to the whole thing. As a person who enjoys this kind of lifestyle, you don't get the opportunity everyday to become in a giant, cool pair and have all the toys ever and do an over-the-top fantasy, which is what we do in this industry. So I am eager to play with all the cool toys.
